| Description | Tamara's Open Party (TOP) was a Dutch political party. The party was founded in 2006 by Tamara Bergfeld. Tamara's Open Party participated in the parliamentary elections of 2006.
TOP aimed directly to give everyone an input in the program and the voice of the party. By means of the 'Election ABC', a kind of election program, the party tried to make clear what it stood for. The ABC was put together by Bergfeld with input from 'people from all over the country'. The themes of poverty and discrimination were central to the ideas of the party.
In the 2006 elections Bergfeld was the leader and only candidate on the list. The party only came out in the constituency Haarlem and got 114 votes, far too few for a seat. |
