| Description | Center-left party founded and chaired by perennial presidential candidate (since 2003) Hafiz Hajiyev. Party was one of three split from the historic Müsavat (Equality) party, the oldest party still operating in Azerbaijan (established in 2011), the other two being the National Congress Party (1998-2023) and the Azerbaijan Democracy and Welfare Party. Hajiyev announced his candidacy for Azerbaijan President in 2024 on December 7, 2023 (launched in 2021) [(Müasir Müsavat Partiyası (MMP)]. |
