DescriptionKadima was established at the beginning of November 2005 by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and a group of Cabinet Ministers and Members of Knesset (Israeli Parliament) who joined his parting from the Likud.

Kadima defines itself as a broad popular movement which works to ensure the future of Israel as a Jewish democratic state. The meaning of the word Kadima in Hebrew is forward or in-front and like its name, Kadima has, since its establishment, become the largest, leading and most influential political party in Israel.

On this website you will find the resume of Ariel Sharon, founding father and visionary of Kadima, and of Ehud Olmert, current Kadima Leader and candidate for Prime Minster in the 2006 elections, along with the main points of the Kadima political platform and relevant speeches.
