Party began as a personal vehicle for TV personality Gonzalo Pérez Jácome in the province of Ourense, located in the southeastern part of Galicia. Pérez Jácome became Mayor of Ourense on June 15, 2019, and the party rose to become the largest political force in the city of Ourense after elections held on May 28, 2023 [Democracia Orensana (DO)]. |
