Centrist 'green' party formed at a time of national conflagration in Eastern Europe known as the 'Revolutions of 1989'. Party sat in the doldrums for two decades until its takeover by Andrej Čuš who renamed the party after himself on March 2018 [Andrej Čuš in Zeleni Slovenije (AČZS)].
