Center-left, Pashtun-nationalist party launched in the wake of the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan. Party opposes religious extremism and authoritarian tendencies emanating from the Pakistani government. Party takes a stand for regionalism, recognition of all languages and cultures in Pakistan, and supports women's rights. Party was founded and is led by Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) activist and NA-48 (Tribal Area-IX) MP Mohsin Dawar [Pashto: ملي جمهوري غورځنګ; Urdu: قومی جمہوری تحریک].
