| Description | Deregistered center-right party re-formed under the leadership of economist and presidential candidate Chishala Kateka. Party was founded in 2001 by Gen. Godfrey Miyanda after he was expelled from the one-time dominant Movement for Multiparty Democracy when he opposed a third term bid by late president Fredrick Chiluba. Party focuses on women's rights, and seeks through the strenghthening of local enterprise to turn Zambia into an economic and productivity hub by 2030. |
