| Description | Former NGO transformed to a centrist environmentalist party in 2008. Originally launched as The Greens, the party was forced by the Supreme Court to change its name (as there was another party at the time, now defunct, called 'The Greens'). Party chose to call itself "The Green Movement" [Зелено движение (ZD)] on April 22, 2019. Party joined in coalition with Yes, Bulgaria! and the Democrats for a Strong Bulgaria on February 8, 2017 to form Democratic Bulgaria (DB) with the Green Movement's Radan Kanev the coalition's deputy chair. ZD is led by MPs Vladislav Panev and Borislav Sandov. |
