Description | MADISON, Wis. (WTW) — Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch joined Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, saying Thursday she won't challenge any of the recall signatures, but the director of the board that oversees elections still wants more time to verify the signatures.
Democrats are trying to oust six Republicans from office, including Walker, Kleefisch and four GOP senators, as payback for Walker's contentious law that stripped public workers of most of their union rights. Democrats have turned in nearly 2 million recall signatures against them. |
