DescriptionCongressman Jesse Jackson, Jr. (D-Ill.) continues to mull a run for Roland Burris' (D) Senate seat in 2010, according to Crain's Chicago Business Journal.

"I am going to consider running," Mr. Jackson said told Crain's. "Some people have asked me to consider it, and I will…I'm not going to take anything off the table."

Jackson, of course, was named in former Gov. Rod Blagojevich's (D) indictment. He has long been rumored to be pursuing the Senate seat.

Jackson isn't the only one looking at the race. The Hill reported yesterday that former Commerce Secretary (and Obama ally) William Daley is considering running. Burris has yet to say whether he will run for another term in 2010, though he has launched SupportBurris.com. Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky (D) is interested in the seat, as is Illinois state Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias (D).
