Description | Arab leaders agree on Iraq resolution
The Washington Times
The Arab League said Saturday its members after long talks have generally agreed on a resolution regarding Iraq to be adopted at a summit next week. Arab League Secretary General Amr Mousa told reporters in the Tunisian capital, Tunis, that after intense talks among the foreign ministers, all members, including Iraq, agreed on a draft resolution "that will represent the view of all the Arab countries." Mousa added that "it became clear the hopes that America built on its invasion of Iraq were not true," and called on Washington to "come down to earth." |
