| Description | Oklahoma GOP Senate candidate Kirk Humphreys is flying back home today after a whirlwind tour of conservative interest groups in Washington, many of which had backed one of his primary opponents, Tom Coburn, in the past.
The April primary for retiring Sen. Don Nickles’s (R-Okla.) seat is pitting two conservative political insiders — Humphreys, a former Oklahoma City mayor; and Coburn, an obstetrician and former congressman — against each other. State Corporation Commissioner Bob Anthony also is vying for the nomination.
