Description | LAPD Lieutenant Lou Vince was awarded $4.3 million dollars as a result of a lawsuit where Vince alleged that the LAPD pressured Vince to return to work after multiple injuries and forced Vince to work "undesirable shifts" and caused Vince to become a target of harassment. The complaint was primarily based on Vince's constant changes of assignments and a lack of accommodation for Vince's injuries. According to Rob Wilcox, the spokesperson for LA City Attorney Mike Feuer, the office is "reviewing its options, including an appeal of the award decision". Vince, a resident of Agua Dulce, joined the department in 1995 and unsuccessfully ran for Congress in 2016. |
