Republicans are 0-2 in their hopes of attracting high-profile GOP governors Chris Sununu of New Hampshire and Phil Scott of Vermont to run for the Senate and help them win back the majority in 2022. A spokesperson for Scott said Monday his mind has “not changed” on running for the Senate — even after Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) announced his retirement. |
