Description | Democrats held the 1st legislative district as recently as 2019, but fundraising reports released today by the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC) show that the party does not seem to be mounting a strong effort to take back the district this year.
Republican State Sen. Michael Testa (R-Vineland), who defeated Democratic State Sen. Bob Andrzejczak (D-Middle) two years ago, reported raising $129,556 and transferring $202,661 from previous campaign accounts. After spending $102,490, the incumbent has $229,727 in cash-on-hand. |
