Description | Social conservative standard-bearer Brad Trost is aiming for a political comeback, seeking a nomination to run for Erin O’Toole’s Conservative party in the upcoming federal election.
The former MP and leadership contender is seeking the party’s nomination in Moose Jaw-Lake Centre-Lanigan, a region of Saskatchewan that has reliably returned Conservative MPs to Parliament for years.
But Trost, who has remained active in pushing social conservative candidates and causes since losing a nomination battle in 2019, is facing stiff competition — and an attempt to disqualify his candidacy. |
