DescriptionThank you, Bruce Benson, for destroying any chance the Republicans might have had to claim the Colorado Governor’s Mansion in ’94. Roy Romer could have been packing his bags, but instead, his wife is probably looking into new home improvements.

The sad part of the situation is that there were two other Republican Party candidates who would have been in better shape to run for that office. But charm and good advertising once again stole the vote.

Before I voted for Benson in the primary, I should have researched the other candidates and decided for myself who the best of the three was. But it was much easier to give in to name recognition tactics used by Benson’s advertising team than to think for myself. I was railroaded!
