| Description | WASHINGTON -- Ambassador Jon Huntsman Jr. of Salt Lake City has resigned his position as the deputy U.S. trade representative in the Bush administration, wanting to spend more time with his children and return to his family's Utah-based corporation.
The move fuels speculation that the scion of petrochemical entrepreneur and philanthropic giant Jon M. Huntsman Sr. may be exploring a run for the governor's office. The junior Huntsman downplays that possibility -- but doesn't rule it out. |
