Description | Incidents that demanded the moderate actions of the public force occurred around noon this Wednesday, February 10, within the facilities of the Electoral Delegation of Guayas, when members of the Pachakutik movement claimed alleged irregularities within the process of counting the votes of the minutes with news.
Yaku Pérez, presidential candidate for that political store, led the complaints after his delegates complained about the lack of the P1 act in the electoral packages of 30% of the counting tables.
The candidate qualified these minutes as the "birth certificate of the Vote Receiving Board" and with which the results of the manual recount of each certificate would be compared.

According to Pérez, the minutes did not arrive within the electoral packages and it was impossible to compare with the data released by the National Electoral Council (CNE). These doubts were personally exposed by the candidate to the director of the Guayas Electoral Delegation, Jhon Gamboa, who assured that "almost all, if not all" of the electoral kits reached the delegation with the minutes of the P1 package.
Another complaint was that the majority of the minutes did not have the plastic security band that protected the numbers written by the members of the boards, before this complaint Gamboa recognized that "it was not mandatory that the security seals be placed" and that these " they are just one of the security mechanisms that was implemented in the process. "
This assertion by Gamboa generated discontent in the delegates of Pachakutik and Pérez, who replied on several occasions to Gamboa to clarify their statements.
Gamboa, for his part, confirmed his statement and accepted a request from Pérez to approach the vote counting area to verify whether or not the minutes of the P1 package were present.
