Description | Sussex County Republicans plan to hold a special election convention later this month to replace Joshua Hertzberg, who gave up his county commissioner post to become a Sparta councilman.
So far, two Republicans are seeking to replace Hertzberg: Frankford Township Committeeman Christopher Carney and former Lafayette Mayor Carl “Bud” Luthman.
The winner of the special election will fill the remaining eleven months of Hertzberg’s term, and possible seek a full term in 2021. |
