| Description | Three Governors in One Day — One Removed and One Resigned. Mr. Peabody at Home in Canon City.
The long drawn out contest on the governorship was settled last week. On Thursday by a vote of 65 to 71 (sic) Gov. Adams was deposed and Gov. Peabody seated.
For several days there had been practically a dead lock, 48 votes being as many as could be mustered by the Peabody supporters.
