| Description | A Danish politician has found a unique way of attracting potential voters — posting a campaign ad on a porn site.
Joachim B. Olsen, of the Liberal Alliance, is hoping that the ad on Pornhub helps him get reelected to the Danish parliament in a general election on June 5. His slogan is the suitably highbrow: “Når du er færdig med at gokke, så stem på Jokke” ("when you finish wanking, vote for Jokke" — a nickname given to people called Joachim).
Olsen, who won a silver medal in the shot put at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, told reporters: “You need to get out everywhere, so we thought it could be amusing with an ad on Pornhub. Half the internet is porn and you need to be where the voters are — including a porn site,” the Copenhagen Post reported.
He said he didn't discuss the ad placement with the party beforehand. |
