Description | After weeks of work, a local group working to recall Rep. Rochelle Galindo, D-Greeley, is free to begin collecting the necessary signatures to get her name on a recall ballot.
The Colorado Secretary of State’s Office on Thursday approved the recall petition format. Further, the group has set in stone — or at least in black and white — the language in the “general statement of grounds for a recall.”
That statement takes Galindo to task for failing “to understand legislation negatively impacting her community,” as well as a number of other “failures.” The focus, as promised by organizer and former Weld County GOP Chairwoman Stacey Kjeldgaard, focuses almost exclusively on oil and gas. |
