Description | ST. PAUL (AP) - Southwest Minnesota State University professor David Sturrock said Tuesday that he'll run against 7th District Congressman Collin Peterson.
Sturrock, a Republican, teaches political science and is a city councilor in Marshall. He moved to the area in 1996 from New York and was born in California.
He criticized Peterson, a Democrat who has held the seat since 1990, for supporting "the ultra-liberal San Francisco Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi for speaker. |
