Description | Florida Gov. Rick Scott, who is the Republican Party’s nominee for Senate in the Sunshine State, took to Twitter on Thursday to dispute President Donald Trump’s claim that 3,000 Puerto Ricans didn’t actually die due to Hurricane Maria in 2017.
Scott’s decision to accurately cite hurricane death toll statistics did not sit well with many Trump supporters, however, and they accused him of being “just another liberal” because he contradicted the president. |
