DescriptionSullivant’s sister Nancy Nash said during an interview at the Frisco Marina.Rescue divers located Sullivant’s body 35 feet below the surface of the Dillon Reservoir on Monday morning, near where his boat was moored at the Frisco Marina. An acquaintance reported last seeing Sullivant Saturday evening headed to his sailboat in a dinghy. The next morning, the dinghy was found overturned, but tied to the boat.On Monday, police said Sullivant’s death appeared to be an accident, however the Summit County coroner has yet to rule on an official cause of death.Sullivant moved to Summit County in the early 1990s and taught history and political science classes at Colorado Mountain College on and off for the past decade. Less than a week before his death, Sullivant began teaching a Tuesday evening U.S. History class in Breckenridge, which state Rep. Gary Lindstrom will now take over, said CMC Dean Leah Bornstein. While reviewing students’ evaluations of Sullivant from over the years, Bornstein said it was clear he left a lasting impression on all his pupils.”Passion was certainly something that came up a lot in student evaluations, that Bryan had a lot of passion in the subject matter and that passion sparked an interest in the students,” Bornstein said.
