Description“Too many Democrats spoil the broth for the general election in Royce and Issa open seats

Sacramento, Calif. – Today, Fight Back California PAC released two polls it conducted last week in the 39th and 49th congressional districts - the open seats currently held by Ed Royce and Darrell Issa, respectively. The polls showed a high likelihood of two Republicans advancing to the general election.

In CA-39, when voters were shown the list of all potential candidates with information about the candidates, former Assemblymember Young Kim leads the pack at 21% followed by Democrat Gil Cisneros at 13%, Republican Bob Huff at 11%, and Democrat Andy Thorburn at 9%. In a narrowed field of candidates, which included the three known Republican and the 4 Democrats that are running viable campaigns (Gil Cisneros, Andy Thorburn, Mai-Khanh Tran, and Jay Cheng), Republicans Kim and Huff claim the top two positions.”
