Description | Gaining strong support among likely Democratic primary voters in New Hampshire opposed to US military action against Iraq, former Vermont Governor Howard Dean has jumped into a virtual tie with Massachusetts Senator John Kerry in ballot preference among likely Democratic primary voters in the New Hampshire Democratic Presidential Preference Primary according to the latest New Hampshire Poll completed just prior to American military action commencing against Iraq. Kerry receives support from 23% of likely Democratic primary votes and Dean receives support from 22% of likely Democratic primary voters. |
