“The more you get to know Steve Stoll, the more you are convinced that he is the right person to be our next Congressman. The more you hear about his dedication to plans for putting people back to work into good jobs, making healthcare affordable for every American, and his commitment to education, the more you are convinced he is the only choice,” stated Terry Nelson, Executive Secretary Treasurer of the Greater St. Louis Carpenters District Council.
“Today, I am proud to give the full support of myself and the 22,000 members of the Greater St. Louis Carpenters District Council to Steve Stoll for Congress. Steve can expect my council to take action today and work hard to make a significant difference to the August and November results,” Nelson finished.
Steve Markus, Business Agent and Organizer, first met then high school history teacher Steve Stoll during his campaign for the state house over a decade ago. “I was impressed by Steve the first time I met him. His is accessible. He puts people at ease, while at the same time you can sense courage and genuine leadership. I have been following his platform closely since that meeting, and he has proven to be a representative of working people,” Marcus added.
“I am proud to receive the endorsement of The Greater St. Louis Carpenters District Council,” said Stoll. “As your congressman I will continue to represent the working families, just as I have been for over a decade. I will fight for affordable health care, not catering to the special interests. My commitment to strengthening our lives by investing in schools, health care and our communities is unwavering.”
