| Description | The son of Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell was arrested over the weekend and charged with public intoxication, Charlottesville Police confirmed to News4.
Sean McDonnell, 21, was arrested at 1:19 a.m. Saturday while on foot on Wertland Street near University Corner, which is located aross the street from the University of Virginia campus.
Lt. Ronnie Roberts of theCharlottesville Police said the officer took him to jail for his own safety due to his level of intoxication. |
