Description SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Sen. Tim Johnson, D-S.D., said Wednesday he has prostate cancer.

Johnson, 57, said he will undergo surgery next Wednesday to have his prostate removed.

"Following surgery, I will be in the hospital for a few days, but then should feel progressively better. I can expect a complete recovery six weeks after that," he said.
