Description | Twenty years after being ousted from Congress after one term, Marjorie Margolis, a former Pennsylvania congresswoman and now Chelsea Clinton's mother-in-law, is planning a political comeback campaign, Ken Smukler, her senior political adviser, confirmed to CBSNews.com.
Margolies, a Democrat who represented Pennsylvania's 13th district, was voted out of office in 1994 after casting a controversial vote in favor of then-President Bill Clinton's deficit reduction law. She will attempt to win back her old seat in 2014, Smukler told CBS. |
