Description | "A new poll finds Gov. Chris Christie remains popular in New Jersey, though his approval ratings have dropped slightly in recent months.
The Rutgers-Eagleton poll out Wednesday finds 68 percent of registered voters approve of Christie's job performance, while 26 percent disapprove. In the last Rutgers-Eagleton poll conducted in February, the governor's job approval rating was 73 percent.
And while 87 percent of respondents approve of Christie's post-Sandy recovery efforts, only 42 percent approve of his handling of New Jersey's economy and jobs and 37 percent approve of his tax policy." |
