DescriptionFormer Fox News contributor Dick Morris mocked New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie at CPAC on Thursday — citing his absence from the conference and his closeness to President Barack Obama.

“You notice [Christie’s] not speaking here today because after Barack let him drive in Air Force One, he bought him an ice cream cone. [My new radio audience] will include the swing state of Pennsylvania that we need to restore to being a swing state. And I look forward to the opportunity to speak for four hours [daily] without anybody interrupting me.”

Conservatives have criticized Christie — who was not invited to CPAC and is often mentioned as a 2016 presidential contender — for being overly effusive to President Barack Obama in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, which left parts of New Jersey ravaged just ahead of Election Day.
