Description | A former Omaha television newsman and one-time Congressional candidate has been found not guilty of domestic violence.
Michael Scott was arrested in November 2012 after his girlfriend told police that Scott punched her several times. According to police reports, the two had allegedly gotten into a fight over a movie they'd seen.
An officer reported seeing swelling to the woman’s left eye area and he could see that two fingernails on her right hand appeared to be ripped off.
Scott was found not guilty by a Sarpy County jury Monday. |
