DescriptionSAN DIEGO — U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is approaching her 80th birthday, but after almost two decades on the court she indicated Friday she has no plans of slowing down.

“I will stay in this job as long as I can do it full steam,” Ginsburg said during an hourlong appearance before the San Diego Association of Business Trial Lawyers.

Ginsburg didn’t provide any insights on cases the court is considering or has ruled on. That’s not surprising. Justices scrupulously avoid discussing cases or the court’s deliberations in their public appearances.
