Description | Staten Island Conservative Borough President James Molinaro today enthusiastically endorsed Democratic Council Speaker Chris Quinn for mayor – delivering a setback to the GOP’s chances of keeping City Hall.
Before serving as borough president, Molinaro was the longtime chairman of the borough’s Conservative Party and was a top aide to former Republican Staten Island Beep and Congressman Guy Molinari.
“My candidate for mayor is Speaker Quinn. I think she will continue in the tradition of Giuliani and Bloomberg. She knows Staten Island exists and she would be great for the entire city,” Molinaro said. |
