Description | Former U.S. Congressman Todd Platts will face another election - but not at the state or national level this time.
He announced Thursday that he will run for judge, seeking a York County Court of Common Pleas seat.
"It's a means for me to continue serving where I began my career, at home in York," said Platts, a Republican who served six terms in the U.S. House of Representatives, before stepping down in January. "In a sense it's kind of coming back to my roots."
Platts, 50, of Spring Garden Township, plans to cross-file in the May primary. |
