| Description | Gov. Jay Nixon has appointed a Republican lawmaker from southwest Missouri to serve on the state Board of Probation and Parole.
House member Don Ruzicka, of Mount Vernon, will need to be confirmed by the Senate for his new parole board position to be permanent.
Ruzicka resigned Friday from his current term in the House and also said in a letter to the governor that he was resigning from 2013-2014 term to which he had recently been re-elected. |
