| Description | Former defense minister and Labor Party MK Amir Peretz announced Thursday morning that he was leaving the Labor Party and joining the Tzipi Livni Party in the coming elections.
Introducing Peretz, Tzipi Livni slammed the Netanyahu government's policies, saying it has taken Israel on the wrong path.
"I am happy I am not the only one who believes in joining forces to deal with the country's diplomatic, security and socioeconomic challenges," Livni said at a press conference. |
