Description | Nearly 460,000 votes in Maricopa County and more than 600,000 statewide had yet to be counted as of late Wednesday, clouding the outcome of several close Arizona races.
Some winners might not be determined for several days or even a week.
Although all non-provisional votes cast in person on Election Day have been counted statewide, there are so many early and provisional ballots remaining to be counted that in some cases, 20 to 30 percent of the ballots have not been tallied.
Pima County won’t begin counting provisional ballots until Monday. Pinal County likely won’t finish until next week. And Maricopa County said it would take at least 10 days to tally all ballots. |
