Reality vs. liberal fantasy world in the presidential polling

| Description | Many on the far left are hanging on to the slightest hope that the planets will be aligned on election day and magic will happen and somehow, although it's entirely unlikely, that their beloved messiah, President Barack Obama, will be reelected despite having proven to be the most economically destructive, most expensive to the taxpayer and overall worst president in the entire history of the United States. Liberals have been drinking the skewed polls Kool Aid for so long now they are entirely convinced Obama is going to win this election. Yet despite all the mounting empirical evidence to the contrary in the form of credible polls, projections and predictions, the left stands behind it scenarios under which it believes Obama is going to be reelected.
Liberals see little to like in most of the national polls showing Mitt Romney leading in the presidential race. The latest Gallup tracking poll released today shows Romney leading by five percent again, 51 percent to 46 percent over the president. The Rasmussen Reports daily tracking poll released today shows Romney leading 50 percent to 47 percent over Obama. And another reminder for liberals, still persisting in the fantasy that Obama is winning, that 50 percent number is the magic number. When the incumbent is below it, he's in serious trouble. When the challenger is at or above it, he's winning, especially just 11 days before the election. One other fact, my liberal friends, no candidate who has been over 50 percent in the national polls, this close to election day, has ever lost an election. That historical pattern will not be overturned this year either. You can take that to the bank, or intrade or wherever. Be sure to inform Nate Silver who still has Obama winning as of today. |
