| Description | Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid was taken to the hospital after a multi-car accident on an interstate through Las Vegas, troopers told the Associated Press.
Nevada Highway Patrol Office spokesman Jeremie Elliott said he didn’t know Reid's condition after the crash, which happened at about 1:10 p.m. Friday on Interstate 15, which runs parallel to the Las Vegas Strip.
A New York Times reporter, however, wrote on Twitter that Reid’s associates said the senator was fine. He added that Reid walked into the emergency room after the accident.
