Description | A woman running for vice president of the United States is -- for now -- making her home in Lincoln.
Maura DeLuca is the vice presidential candidate for the Socialist Workers Party, one of a handful of minor parties on the ballots in some states.
DeLuca, a member of the national committee for her party, has lived in Lincoln since early spring and worked for several months for Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing.
She left Kawasaki in June when she became a candidate, because as a temporary worker she could not take a leave of absence to campaign. |
