Pols: Charles Barron Too Bigoted To Go To D.C.
BY Celeste Katz
A team of New York politicians gathered Monday to make it clear they think Congressional wannabe Charles Barron is too much of an “anti-Semite” and a “bigot” to go to D.C.
Rep. Jerrold Nadler, former Mayor Ed Koch, state Assemblyman Dov Hikind and City Councilman David Greenfield were among the pols who rallied outside the Museum of Jewish Heritage in Battery Park to convince voters Hakeem Jeffries is a better choice than Barron in the redrawn 8th CD.
"We need representatives who will focus on uniting communities, not dividing them,” Nadler said after the event. |
