| Description | Today, Senator Deb Fischer announced the endorsement of her U.S. Senate campaign by U.S. Congressman Jeff Fortenberry, a Republican who represents Nebraska’s 1st Congressional District.
“You know Washington can be a pretty tough place to do business, and a lot of Nebraskans are asking me, ‘who I am going to support in the upcoming race for United States Senate?’ I am here to tell you that I’m going to support Deb Fischer. Deb Fischer was trained as an educator. She is a wife and mother. And she is a rancher. Deb Fischer is a very capable state legislator. And throughout this campaign I have not heard her utter one single negative phrase. I think Deb Fischer will bring principled leadership to Washington and work in a constructive manner and that is what America needs,” said Congressman Fortenberry. |
