Description | The son of congressional candidate Scottie Mayfield has had a court date for vandalism moved back to three weeks after the election.
Kingston Assistant Police Chief Gary Nelson told the Chattanooga Times Free Press the change was not the result of special treatment.
Nelson said he picked the new Aug. 27 date without consideration of the election. Michael Mayfield, 33, had originally been scheduled to go to court this month. |
