Description | (AFP) - Silvio Berlusconi on Friday said his wild parties were "burlesque contests" as the former Italian prime minister made a first appearance at his trial for having sex with an underage prostitute.
The parties, which included strippers dressed as nuns, policewomen and sexy Father Christmases, were described by Berlusconi as "elegant dinners" characterized by an atmosphere of "joy, serenity and conviviality."
He said that after dinner his female guests would then hold "burlesque contests and practiced" with him in a discotheque in the villa.
"I wasn't the judge, I just watched. I had a lot of fun," he said.
The 75-year-old said the girls danced in harem outfits given to him as a present by his friend, Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi. |
