DescriptionFor most of his adult life, N.C. House candidate Dana Byron Bumgardner has been warding off rumors that he has a criminal record, with convictions for assaulting females and other offenses.

The gossip seems to stem from him sharing a first and last name, and the same relative age, as another Gastonia resident who has frequently run afoul of the law.
