Description | All four Democrats hoping to win the party's nomination to take on Walker in the June 5 recall election turned in signatures Tuesday. The primary is May 8.
Democrats running are Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk and state Sen. Kathleen Vinehout, of Alma.
Each of them needed to turn in at least 2,000 valid signatures by 5 p.m. Tuesday to qualify to get on the ballot.
Falk showed up at the board around 9:30 Tuesday morning with a box of folders she said contained 4,000 names. She told reporters nomination signatures came into her campaign from all around the state. |
